RCD Testing

A RCD (Residual Current Device) is a safety device that disconnects a circuit when it detects an imbalance of the electric current. The RCD turns the power off almost immediately to prevent electrocution. While you may still receive an electric shock, the duration will be very short, reducing the risk of serious injury.

Electric Pro will inspect and test your workplace Fixed and Portable RCD's in accordance with AS/NZS 3760:2010 and state based legislation.  A simple Operating Time Test will be conducted to ensure your RCD trips the power within the recommended time frame. You will then receive a copy of all test results.

Contact Electric Pro today if you require RCDs tested by one of our licenced electricians.
